Ben Halladay

To my knowledge, I have been creating art since approximately age 4. I am 17 years old and I have been a consumer and creator of all art. I have no particular medium or niche I identify in however my goal is to have my pieces speak for themselves. I want my art to be viewed as a thought process. I want it to provoke different moods or states of mind.

Isolation

I want all of my art to be each person’s own interpretation. However, one of the main concepts that came to mind was the pandemic and how so many people experienced dramatic isolation from their families, friends and the outside world as a whole. This sub-meaning eludes to the earliest portions of lockdowns when many people stopped even going outside. It is a natural human tendency to long for community, what happens when we lose a fundamental piece of human identity?
