Urban Legend

A wild great blue heron is depicted over a wallpaper style pattern. I often like to contrast natural forms with geometric patterns. The pattern in this painting represents the human organization of cities and structures, while the heron remains natural and majestic. Let us recognize that this balance is delicate, and that wildlife needs to be protected and preserved.

Resilience

A bald eagle is depicted perched on a rock, over an abstract background. The bald eagle is the perfect symbol of resilience. These majestic birds are actually in a state of population recovery after significant conservation efforts.
