Produced in partnership with Crescent Housing Society, and presented by Schill Insurance, 2026 Paint the Town will kick-off with a community plein air painting event on Saturday July 25, followed by a two-month exhibition, and culminate in an art auction on Friday Oct 2.

How To Participate

Painting Event

July 25, 10am – 2pm | Two locations

For a $10 registration fee, pick up your canvas and painting supplies (if needed) on July 25 at one of two locations: Memorial Park or Ocean Park Village. Then paint “plein air” at a location of your choice on the Semiahmoo Peninsula.

July 27 – Oct 4 | Turnbull Gallery

Enter your painting in the exhibition to be eligible for community voting and possible inclusion in the Oct 2 auction. 

The community will be invited to visit the exhibition and vote for their favourites.

Oct 2, 7 – 9pm | Turnbull Gallery

Get ready for a fabulous evening of local art, local wine, live and silent auction. Buy yourself a painting of an iconic local spot and support local artists and SAS program accessibility. Auction proceeds will be shared between the artist and Ulee’s Fund.
