Joan Adams
Joan has been an artist all her life. It is what she was meant to do. She enjoys using a wide variety of materials and paints to create paintings and sculptures of all sizes. The process of bringing a new painting or sculpture into being intrigues her. She likes challenging herself to take the time to complete a new project in a new way. She will take the time that is needed to succeed no matter how long it takes.
Her granite sculpture Metamorphosis can be viewed at White Rock beach.
And her granite sculpture, “Lion Woman” is in the Rose garden at Bear Creek park.
Joan graduated from Emily Carr Art School in 1981.
